In Somerset, Tweenies Petting Farm was a highlight of the day, giving family members the chance to get up close with lambs, goats, and other friendly animals. Timmy the lamb was particularly relaxed, even dozing off in family member Alan’s arms, much to everyone’s amusement. Meanwhile, a few mischievous goats kept everyone on their toes with their playful antics. Phyllis, another family member, fondly reminisced about her farming days, sharing stories of her time working with livestock.

Among the special moments was the home administrator’s young daughter, who despite feeling a little apprehensive, bravely held a lamb—proving that even the smallest steps can make for the biggest memories. Meanwhile, another team member Sandra made quite the impression as she arrived dressed as Superwoman, bringing laughter and energy to the day.
The fair also featured a range of community market stalls, with everything from handmade crafts and baked goods to woodwork and locally made gifts. Guests enjoyed a traditional tombola, sweet stall, and BBQ, with plenty of tea and coffee to go around.
