The team at Catherine House Care Home in Frome, Somerset, has been recognised by NHS Somerset after achieving excellent quality standards during its annual Quality Assurance review.
In a letter sent to the home following its latest assessment, NHS Somerset congratulated the team on the standards achieved across its set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which review a broad range of areas linked to the quality and safety of care.
NHS Somerset said the results demonstrate that Catherine House has effective systems in place to deliver safe care, with the team taking a proactive approach to identifying and responding whenever issues arise.
A spoke person for All Age Continuing Care Quality and Care Sector Manager at NHS Somerset, wrote:
“We recognise that providing consistently good standards of care is complex as well as rewarding, and we hope you will have the opportunity to share our thanks with the staff team in recognition of the standards of care being delivered.”
While the recognition celebrates the outcome of the review, the team at Catherine House says its focus remains the same: providing safe, compassionate care while supporting every family member to continue the life that matters to them.
